Professional Services (range from $1,500-$1,900): This includes paperwork and administration tasks such as consultation with the family, coordination, and clerical services, medical and cemetery paperwork and applications, liaising with third party suppliers and preparation and lodgement of the registration of death. It also covers a portion of costs for our overhead costs, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry best practice and safety requirements, ongoing staff training and development, and 24-hour availability.
2. Mortuary and Transfer Services ($1,250): This involves the local transfer of the deceased into our care, as well as mortuary accommodation and basic preparation (washing, dressing, cosmetics, hair-styling and casketing) in our purpose-built mortuary care centres, which comply with the minimum standards of the Australian Funeral Directors Association. This service ensures dignified transfer, safe keeping and preparation of the deceased by qualified staff.
3. Ceremony Fees (range from $450-$3,500): These fees cover the conduct of the funeral by professionally trained staff, including the organisation and facilitation of viewings, ceremonies, gatherings and burial/cremation.
